Galileo, winner of the 2002 Royal & SunAlliance Novices’ Hurdle, has been retired after failing to recapture his Cheltenham form.

Galileo, winner of the 2002 Royal & SunAlliance Novices’ Hurdle, has been retired after failing to recapture his Cheltenham form.

The eight-year-old ran his final race at Worcester last Wednesday when finishing third, beaten 30 lengths, in a novice chase.
