Avonbridge wins Prix Du Gros-Chene

Avonbridge made all the running to land the Prix Du Gros-Chene at Chantilly this afternoon.

The 3-1 second-favourite was quickest away from the stalls in the five-furlong contest and had the majority of the nine-runner field under pressure by halfway.

Porlezza, winner of the Group Two feature for the last two years, finished runner-up, while another British raider, The Trader, flew down the outside to take third.
