Leadership ruled out of Coronation Cup

Leadership will miss today’s Vodafone Coronation Cup at Epsom.

The five-year-old was due to be one of two runners for Godolphin in the Group One contest.

But a statement on www.godolphin.com said: “Leadership will miss today’s Coronation Cup at Epsom Downs as he was found to be lame on his near-fore.”

Doyen, the mount of Frankie Dettori, will now be Godolphin’s only representative.
