Meehan Crystal-clear about Oaks chance

Brian Meehan has dismissed suggestions that it is asking the impossible for a filly to follow up a maiden-race victory by landing a Classic as he prepares Crystal for Friday’s Vodafone Oaks.

Crystal was one of seven left in the Group One contest after today’s final declaration stage in a field headed by Godolphin’s leading fancies Punctilious and Sundrop.
