Dance Away straight to Ascot

Dance Away, who showed herself to be one of the fastest juvenile fillies around with an impressive success at York earlier in the month, is to head straight for the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Her trainer Michael Bell had intended giving the daughter of Pivotal another outing at Beverley before the June 15 contest, but has changed his mind.

Bell said: “I don’t want to jeopardise her chance of winning the Queen Mary and by not going for the Hilary Needler Trophy it gives her more time between races.”
