One Cool Cat, who flopped when favourite for the UltimateBet.com 2000 Guineas at Newmarket earlier this month, has not been declared for the Irish equivalent at the Curragh on Saturday.

One Cool Cat, who flopped when favourite for the UltimateBet.com 2000 Guineas at Newmarket earlier this month, has not been declared for the Irish equivalent at the Curragh on Saturday.

Aidan O’Brien’s charge finished 13th of 14 on the Rowley Mile and was later found to be suffering from an irregular heartbeat.

One Cool Cat had been 9-4 second favourite with totesport for the Curragh Classic.

O’Brien will now rely on Grand Reward, the mount of Jamie Spencer and Newton in the eight-runner field.

Azamour and Grey Swallow, third and fourth respectively behind Haafhd in the Newmarket Guineas, renew rivalry at the weekend.

Grey Swallow’s trainer Dermot Weld also runs Hayburn Street.

James Toller’s Bachelor House and Leitrim House from Brian Meehan’s yard are the two British runners.

Seb Sanders will ride Bachelor Duke with Steve Drowne on Leitrim House.

Kevin Prendergast’s Amarula Ridge, third behind Grey Swallow at Leopardstown last month, completes the line-up.

Following One Cool Cat's defection, Paddy Power now bet: 13-8 Azamour, 9-4 Grey Swallow, 9-2 Leitrim House, 8-1 Bachelor Duke, Grand Reward, 25-1 Amarula Ridge, Newton, 50-1 Hayburn Street.
