Hanagan hit with lengthy ban

Paul Hanagan was hit with a 15-day ban, three of them deferred, at a Jockey Club disciplinary panel hearing yesterday.

The panel found Hanagan, riding Maktavish in the Hambleton Classified Stakes at Thirsk on April 16, to be in breach of the instruction concerning riding to the draw.
