Ann Duffield opened her two-year-old account for the season when Unlimited, ridden by her husband George, won the Littlewoods Bet Direct Maiden Auction Stakes at Southwell today.

Urabande (50-1) took up the running with three furlongs to race but Unlimited, the 13-8 favourite, went in pursuit and he edged into the lead a furlong out.
