Redcar meeting washed out

Tomorrow’s meeting at Redcar has been abandoned due to waterlogging.

Officials at the track had called an inspection for 1pm today after some heavy but clerk of the course John Gundill has come to an early conclusion.

He said: “Racing tomorrow has been abandoned as the course is waterlogged and it is still raining now.”
