Amberleigh House was reported to be in top form this morning after his memorable victory in the Martell Cognac Grand National at Aintree yesterday.

The 12-year-old’s success gave his trainer Ginger McCain a record-equalling fourth win in the race after taking the Grand National three times with the legendary Red Rum in 1973, 1974 and 1977.
