Irish challenger Al Eile got the better of a tough battle with Made In Japan to take the Unwins Wine Group Anniversary Four-year-old Novices' Hurdle.

John Queally’s charge made his move approaching the last flight and under a powerful ride from Timmy Murphy got up to win at 25-1.
