York beckons for impressive Alcazar

Alcazar earned a possible trip to York with an impressive victory in the Listed HBLB “Further Flight” Stakes at Nottingham today.

Trainer Hughie Morrison has decided to give the Sagaro Stakes at Ascot, a race Alcazar won last year, lost in the stewards’ room and was then re-instated on appeal, a miss this time and instead head for the Emirates Airline Yorkshire Cup.
