Lee ready for Aintree
Graham Lee has recovered from a heavy fall at Sedgefield on Tuesday and will be fit to ride at Aintree tomorrow.
The jockey, who is due to partner Amberleigh House in Saturday’s Martell Cognac Grand National, suffered a “dead leg” when Dionn Righ crashed out at the first fence in the St James Security Handicap Chase.
He was stood down for the rest of the day but his agent Richard Hale said today: “He’s fine. He’s had physio and he’s 100%.
“He’s got six rides tomorrow, Valley Henry, Inglis Drever, Royal Rosa, Log On Intersky, Dalaram and Zibeline.”
Lee is enjoying his best season and has ridden 82 winners so far this term.
