Walsh back tomorrow

Ruby Walsh has recovered from a heavy fall at Wincanton on Thursday and is set to return to action at Sandown Park tomorrow.

The Irish jockey was badly bruised after coming off Perange at the last fence in the Blue Square 0800 587 0200 Handicap Chase and gave up his two remaining rides at the meeting.

His sister and agent, Jennifer Walsh, said: “He’s fine – not a bother on him.

“He had no rides today anyway but he’s perfect and rides at Sandown tomorrow.”
