Kempton goes ahead

This afternoon’s card at Kempton goes ahead after conditions improved significantly at the track.

Two early morning inspections, at 7am and 9am, proved inconclusive with another look planned for 11am.

However, temperatures have risen steadily and the frost has come out of the ground.

Clerk of the course Brian Clifford said: “Racing goes ahead. We are up to four degrees and the track is fine.”
