Fehily back tomorrow

Jockey Noel Fehily will miss his intended rides at Huntingdon this afternoon following a crashing fall yesterday.

The rider was unseated from Ziggy Zen in the closing Ludlow Sparky Novices’ Hurdle, although he has come out of the incident with no serious injury.

“He is fine but is going to bypass today,” said his agent Chris Broad. “He wasn’t stood down but is just a bit sore so has given up his rides. The plan is for him to be back tomorrow at Kempton and then at Newbury on Saturday.”

Broad added that Carl Llewellyn, who has been out of action since pulling a muscle in his back on Tuesday, will also be back in the plate at Kempton tomorrow.
