Bangor have called a noon inspection tomorrow to assess prospects for Friday’s meeting following heavy rain and flooding at the end of last week.

Water is currently being pumped off the course but there are still saturated areas after the River Dee burst its banks, and racing would not have been possible today.

“We are doing all we can to ensure the meeting goes ahead, but in an effort to give connections as much warning as possible, a provisional inspection will be held at noon on Wednesday,” said general manager Jeannie Chantler.
