Wetherby pass inspection

Wetherby have passed a 7.30am inspection and racing this afternoon will go ahead.

Some heavy rain in the last few days had put the meeting in doubt but the Yorkshire track had a dry night and are ready to race.

Tim Betteridge, chief executive at the track, said: "We had a dry night and we are going ahead. The ground is soft, heavy in places."
