Thursday's Towcester card in doubt

There will be an inspection at 4pm tomorrow at Towcester to assess prospects for Thursday’s card.

Clerk of the course Nick Lees said: “We are soft but in the home straight we are heavy, waterlogged in places.

“We have got two giant covers with hot air blowers underneath like they use on football pitches. So we are going to give it a go but the prospects aren’t great.”
