Bindaree heads to Haydock

Bindaree has recovered from the after-effects of a crunching fall at Warwick and is on course for the Red Square Vodka Gold Cup at Haydock on February 28.

The 2002 Grand National winner will have just the one run before returning to Aintree, and his trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies said: “He was a bit stiff for about a week after his fall in the Tote Classic Chase but he is absolutely 100 per cent again and the Haydock race fits in nicely as far as another crack at the National is concerned.”
