Plumpton abandoned

Plumpton have abandoned this afternoon’s meeting due to frost.

Temperatures fell to minus four overnight and clerk of the course Geoff Stickels had no choice but to abandon.

“We have abandoned. We were down to minus four at it’s worst last night and we’re still at minus three now,” he said.
