Sedgefield abandoned
Sedgefield’s meeting this afternoon has been abandoned due to frost and snow.
Jim Allen, general manager and secretary at the County Durham track, said: “David McAllister, the clerk of the course, has decided to abandon.
“We’ve got snow on the ground. It froze for three hours before it snowed in the night and it’s completely white over.”
Today’s other jumps card at Leicester is subject to a 7.30am inspection but after a frost-free night prospects are described as good.
