Pipe sets up assault on Uttoxeter prize

Martin Pipe is responsible for 12 of the 57 entries for the £70,000 (€101,787) Singer & Friedlander National Trial at Uttoxeter on January 31.

The champion trainer’s dozen for the three-and-a-half-mile chase include the last two winners of the English Summer National at the Staffordshire track, Stormez and Jurancon II, as well as last year’s Midlands Grand National runner-up Akarus.
