Turtle Soup revelled in the rain-softened ground to land the featured Stan James Handicap Hurdle at Warwick today.

As a son of Turtle Island, soft going has always been essential for the seven-year-old and he made no mistake under James Davies as the pair came 14 lengths clear of Tik-A-Tai after leading approaching the third-last.
