Dual winner Cyfor Malta heads a team of four left in the Paddy Power Gold Cup by Martin Pipe at today’s confirmation stage as he attempts to land the Cheltenham showpiece for the fourth successive year.

Cyfor Malta, winner in 1998 and last year, is now outright top weight on 11st 12lb for the £110,000 (€160,210) handicap chase, which has attracted 26 confirmations. The 10-year-old is 12-1 with the sponsors.
