The mile and a half race is the last major betting heat of the Flat turf season.

There are some interesting contenders headed by the Lady Herries-trained Wunderwood who won over course and distance on October 25.

Paul Cole has two possible runners in Capitano Corelli, who disappointed as one of the leading fancies last year, and Harcourt, a winner at Newmarket in April.

Two previous winners could line up in the shape of Brian Ellison’s Batswing, who won the race in 2000, and Reg Hollinshead’s Royal Cavalier who took the race in 2001.

Henry Cecil’s Bagan, a surprise 50-1 winner at York in August, is another interesting prospect as is Mick Channon’s Flotta.

Blue Square have installed Cole’s runners as the market leaders with Harcourt the 7-1 favourite and Capitano Corelli at 8-1.

Tote/Racing Post £1m (€1.47m) Ten To Follow November Handicap betting:

Blue Square: 7-1 Harcourt, 8-1 Capitano Corelli, Wunderwood, 10-1 Eastern Breeze, Canada, 14-1 Nowell House, Palammedes, In Love, Flotta, Perfect Storm, Turbo, 16-1 Royal Cavalier, Bagan, Gold Ring, Cruise Director, 20-1 bar.
