Top Irish jump jockey Ruby Walsh will be out of action for eight weeks after fracturing his hip in a fall.

Walsh, who rides regularly for Paul Nicholls in Britain, was unseated from Caishill in the Listowel Beginners Chase at the Irish track on Monday.
