Dalgleish clear to ride

Jockey Keith Dalgleish will not have to pass a further breathalyser test before he takes his rides at Yarmouth.

The young Scot is very much an up-and-coming star of the weighing room.

But he hit the headlines for the wrong reasons on Monday when he was stood down for the day after becoming the first rider to test positive for alcohol since the introduction of breathalyser tests on July 15.

"He was stood down until midnight and doesn't have to undergo any further tests or examinations today. He is clear to ride," said Jockey Club public relations director John Maxse.
