Johnny Murtagh made a winning return to the saddle when steering Hanabad to victory at Limerick today.

The Irish rider announced before the Ebor Meeting at York last month that he would be taking a break from the saddle after failing to respond to treatment on a back injury suffered in a fall at Royal Ascot.
