O'Brien to rely on Boru at Doncaster
Leading Seabiscuit St Leger hope Powerscourt looks set to bypass the Doncaster Classic on September 13.
Aidan O’Brien’s charge is instead expected to take his chance at the Curragh on the same day.
The decision means the Ballydoyle trainer will rely on Brian Boru, who was just beaten by his stablemate in a thrilling finish to the Great Voltigeur Stakes at York last month, on Town Moor.
O’Brien told the Racing Post: “Powerscourt and Brian Boru are both in good form.
“Plans might change, but at this stage Powerscourt is more likely to run at the Curragh, with Brian Boru going to Doncaster."
