British and Irish raiders failed to cut much ice in the feature contest at Deauville this afternoon as Whipper sprung a real surprise in the Prix Morny Casinos Barriere.

Robert Collet’s filly came with a strong run in the closing stages to collar hot favourite Much Faster.
