Cassis well ahead of Del Mar tilt
Cassis is reported to be in fine form ahead of her bid for the Grade One Del Mar Oaks in America on Sunday.
The Jeremy Noseda-trained filly, who won the Tattersalls Musidora Stakes earlier this year, had a spin under big-race jockey winner Kent Desormeaux yesterday.
Noseda, who landed two of the major juvenile events at York this week, was delighted with her work and she is on schedule for the race.
He told his official website: “The filly is in great order. She worked five furlongs on the turf and Kent Desormeaux rode her.
“He was thrilled with her. She’s come out of it well and we are hopeful of a bold show.”
