McCarthy appeals against Dodona decision

Trainer Tim McCarthy will have his appeal against a decision taken by the Lingfield stewards, not to award a race to his charge Dodona, heard at the Jockey Club tomorrow.

The disciplinary panel will consider the appeal against the decision of the local officials to find that the winner of the Come Racing At Lingfield Handicap, Fantasy Crusader, had accidentally interfered with Dodona, placed second, that the interference had not improved the winner’s placing, and to leave the result unaltered.
