Spencer takes Contraband Ebor ride

Jamie Spencer has landed the ride on Contraband in Wednesday’s Tote Ebor at York.

The five-year-old gelding, who is trained by William Haggas, finished sixth in the one mile, six furlongs event last year on what was his seasonal debut when he was ridden by Martin Dwyer.
