Flores to ride Sulamani in US

Top American jockey David Flores has been booked to ride Godolphin’s Sulamani in the Grade One Arlington Million at Arlington Park on August 16.

Godolphin’s official website confirmed that the four-year-old Hernando colt, winner of the Group One Dubai Sheema Classic at Nad al Sheba and runner-up to Alamshar in the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes at Ascot, is expected to travel to America shortly to tackle the 10 furlong race.

Californian-based jockey Flores has ridden for Godolphin before with victories on Tempera in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies, Express Tour in the UAE Derby and Festival of Light in the Godolphin Mile to his credit.
