Deportivo landed the King Of Beers Stakes in good style on Budweiser Irish Derby day at the Curragh to provide his trainer, Roger Charlton, with his first success at the track.

Repertory set his customary fast pace but was joined by Deportivo, the 11-8 favourite, with two of the five furlongs of the Listed contest left to travel.
