Fallon up to challenge on Creek
Champion jockey Kieren Fallon made his dash to the Curragh last night well worth while when partnering Carrizo Creek to a decisive victory in the €130,000 Goffs Challenge for Lambourn trainer Brian Meehan.
Carrizo Creek was produced with a devastating challenge on the stands side to sweep to the front and win readily by a length and a half from fellow English raider Danesmead, who was ridden by Irish champion Michael Kinane for Tim Easterby.
