Godolphin’s Sulamani spearheads the list of 18 acceptors remaining in the Group One Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud in Paris on Sunday.

Acquired by Godolphin after his close second to Marienbard in the Arc de Triomphe, the ex-Pascal Bary-trained runner won the Group One Dubai Sheema Classic at Nad Al Sheba in March.

The four-year-old is due to tackle this 10-furlong event as a warm-up for the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes at Ascot next month.

Sulamani is one of three Godolphin entries together with Millstreet and Narrative.

Other British possibles are Sir Michael Stoute’s Gamut and John Dunlop’s Millenary.

The latter lost a Group Two race, the Prix Jean de Chaudenay, at the same course last month in the stewards’ room.

The domestic acceptors include Eric Libaud’s Ange Gabriel, who was second to Sulamani in the Sheema Classic.

He was a comfortable Group Two winner at Chantilly last time.

The race is also an option for the Prix de Diane and the Prix de l’Opera heroine Bright Sky. She was a promising second to Falbrav in the Prix d’Ispahan on her return.
