Quartet ruled out of BaaBaas side
Former Scotland skipper Budge Pountney, ex-Wales captain Scott Quinnell and South Africans Andre Vos and Josh Kronfeld have been ruled out of the Barbarians side to face England at Twickenham on Sunday through injury.
Flankers Vos and Kronfeld were injured playing against each other for Harlequins and Leicester respectively in last week’s Zurich Premiership wild card play-offs.
Quinnell and Pountney have been ruled out with niggling injuries which hindered them during the season.
New Zealanders Jerry Collins, Taine Randell, Australian Scott Staniforth and Ryan Strudwick of London Irish, have been called up to replace them.
The Barbarians team will be announced after they train at Richmond tomorrow afternoon.
