Ireland's derby bid boosted by Magistretti upset

The prospects of Ireland being responsible for a fourth consecutive winner of the Vodafone Derby increased again at York as Magistretti caused an upset in the Tote Dante Stakes.

The 8-1 chance landed the Group Two contest in good fashion, but may not even go for Europe’s richest race.
