Jimmy Quinn will be hoping to bounce back from a heavy fall at Haydock with two rides at Newmarket this afternoon.

Quinn gave up his last ride at the Merseyside track yesterday after suffering bruising when he was unseated at the start from Bollin Jeannie in the Merewood Homes Handicap.

The rider has two booked rides at Newmarket and agent Dave Pollington confirmed he is fit for action.

He said: “He’s OK. He just got a bit of a kick, that’s all.

“I spoke to him after and he seemed perky enough but he just gave up that last ride, he’s raring to go today now.”
