Trainer Bobby Frankel looks to hold a strong hand in next month’s Kentucky Derby after taking two of the final trial races on Saturday.

Empire Maker underlined his Derby claims with a thrilling victory in the Grade One Wood Memorial Stakes at Aqueduct while another Frankel inmate Peace Rules took the Grade One Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland.
