Hardy Eustace gave the Irish another winning start to the day when outstaying everyone to win the Royal&SunAlliance Novices Hurdle - though the stewards have called an inquiry.
The 6/1 shot swept into the lead approaching the last from long-time Coolnagorna and stayed on strongly up the hill to be first past the post by two lengths.
Well-backed Coolnagorna plugged for second at 4/1 with favourite Pizarro third at 2/1 having had every chance turning into the straight.
