Back in Front wins Cheltenham opener

Irish raider Back in Front got favourite backers off to a flying start with an easy victory in the opening Gerrard Wealth Management Supreme Novices Hurdle.

The 3/1 favourite took over from long-time leader Lirfox at the final turn and raced away up the hill for an emphatic victory.

He had 10 lengths to spare at the post from 13/2 shot Kicking King with fast-finishing Chauvinist third at 20/1.
