Lungo yard hit by virus
Lenny Lungo’s stable faces a virtual shutdown for the next fortnight after a viral problem struck the yard, it emerged today.
The Carrutherstown trainer – who did not have a runner anywhere yesterday - feared the worst when The Bajan Bandit was found to have a dirty nose after he had been pulled up at Wetherby eight days ago, and he said: “I suppose it is impossible not to pick up bugs at race meetings and we will just have to lie low for a while.
