Walsh makes first Fakenham trip a winning one
Irish jockey Ruby Walsh made his first trip to Fakenham a winning one when Joly Bey took the Fakenham Racecourse As A Business Venue Novice’s Chase over an extended three miles at the Norfolk course.
The Paul Nicholls-trained six-year-old, who started a well-backed 4-7 favourite, was maintaining his trainer’s excellent 50 per cent strike rate at the sharp Norfolk track.
