Frozen Leicester abandoned

Leicester have called off tomorrow’s meeting due to a frozen track.

Officials abandoned the fixture after a 9.15am inspection this morning showed the track to be unraceable.

Clerk of the course Nick Lees explained: “We’ve abandoned. The frost never really came out yesterday and temperatures of minus four are forecast for tonight.”
