Fontwell faces late inspection

Officials at Fontwell are to inspect the course again later this morning before giving the green light to racing this afternoon.

After an inspection at 7.30am, clerk of the course Geoff Stickels said: "It's not deep enough to call it off at the moment. We've had no worse regards frost than we had yesterday and that came out by midday so we're cautiously optimistic.
