Best Mate heads King George VI Chase
Best Mate heads a field of 10 for the Pertemps King George VI Chase at Kempton on St Stephen's Day.
Henrietta Knight's Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup winner, who will be partnered by Tony McCoy, is joined by stablemate Lord Noelie.
Last year's winner Florida Pearl will bid to retain his title for trainer Willie Mullins after just holding off Best Mate in a storming finish last Christmas.
Nicky Henderson will also be double-handed with both Bacchanal, the choice of stable jockey Mick Fitzgerald, and Marlborough among the final declarations.
Champion trainer Martin Pipe also runs two with Wahiba Sands and outsider Shooting Light in the line up.
