Truckers Tavern okay after fall

Ferdy Murphy reports his stable star Truckers Tavern none the worse for his tumble at Ascot yesterday although he will not be making a quick reappearance at Wetherby on Friday.

The Phardante gelding was a well-backed favourite for the cantorsport.co.uk Silver Cup but his supporters knew their fate very early as he parted company with Davy Russell after jumping the first fence, despite the best efforts of his young rider to stay aboard.
